Update on all of my Shroom horses (pt 2) 1-2] First up was Espresso! I took her out on a hack for some cross country practice. We had a gallop and jumped a few logs along the way. I'd like to take her to an xc course soon, but I'm not sure if there any open. 3-4] Then I brought Cookie into the round pen and jumped an oxer with her. She was jumping really well, so I inreased the height and she jumped the highest she's jumped with me! 5-6] After that, I brought out Nightmare. She's so sweet, but I don't have tack for her yet and after seeing her bucking in the field, I didn't fancy riding her bareback, so I gave her a lunge instead and she did pretty good, just needs more practice! 7-8] Then I set up some jumps in the arena and brought Mocha in. She has an incredible jump and did amazingly! 9] Next was Fairytale. I took her on a hack for the first time and she was amazing! I think I'll let Piper ride her sometime soon. 10-11] Then I set up some poles in the arena to do with Mercury. At first she knocked them a few times but she eventually got the hang of it and was great at picking her feet up. 12-13] Lastly I took Amber on a short, chilled hack. We just did walk and trot, so I was planning on taking her for a nice long canter up the track afterwards, but she felt pretty tired so I just put her back in her stable.
