[!] Haiiiii :) I don’t have the brain cells to type out a paragraph of this man’s backstory and explanation of DID in the sign up studio soooo oke also I forgor to say his age- he’s 26 moons old What is DID? (Required for the disability section) ===== DID is a rare disorder found to be in 1.5% of Americans on their own, meaning ‘Dissociative Identity Disorder’. The person inflicted with said disorder usually comes from a history of trauma, either through abuse from parents or siblings, often gaining this disorder to appear appeasing to new people by changing their personality, actions, and behaviors drastically to fit what they believe the other would like as a defense mechanism. These new identities, called ‘alters’, usually have differing speech, thought processes, expressions, and memories. On that topic, people with DID also can experience amnesia during their time being another alter, however Celestial will not face this problem. He will have a form of a mixed ‘possession’ and ‘nonpossession’, where he will have control most of the time over his mind with a ‘fronting and backing’ system where his identities and himself will take turns fronting or backing depending on the situation. It will more or less be like sharing a brain with multiple other people, and it can get messy, causing him to break down in severely stressful situations. This generally will not be mentioned in roleplay so as not to confuse the other people about what is happening, more so that Celestial will seem to be somewhat moody yet still reliable (which is how he landed as a deputy! ^^) If you just read the above because I sent you the link to explain, congrats! You’ve had a basic 101 lesson on what DID is and the specifics of Celestial’s. Personalities you can call him, with defining factors: Cele: The main dad. Dad of the clan. Acts very kind and takes charge to help others. The main Celestialflurry you will see in roleplay. Willing to get into mischief. Stial: Brave, a bit more cocky, though clumsy with words and can be slightly blunt. Is still well meaning though! Usually fronts during patrols and battles. ^^ Flurry: Sarcastic and more reserved, the manipulative one out of the three. When Cele and Stial are both out of commission (either by trauma triggering, so just too tired to front) Flurry is the one to keep everybody away so they can have some quiet time. Backstory ===== too lazy to write it out after writing a literal essay informing you all of DID above so here’s the summary: Celestial is from outside the clans His mom was abusive, he grew up with bad and mean cats, that’s how he got DID he ran away went to DriftClan Almost drowned in the lakes Got saved by DriftClan patrol Became apprentice and is now deputy That’s it
