Flurry tried to get free terrified. His eyes were locked on Shadow who was smiling, setting up tools to tear apart Flurry. As they began Gecko got tied of Flurry's thrashing and dragged a canister over, hooking up a mask to it he shoved the strap over Flurry's horns and tightened it before turning on the canister. Flurry gagged, the gas tasted foul. Swiftly his vision disoriented but he remained conscious, just dizzy and senses warped. He could feel every cut, every tear, and poke, not because these two hurt more physically than the rest. But because now it was Shadow. This whole time. Everything he did everyday to everyone, was to get back to Shadow. But now here he was, just another captor to the 'immortal creature'. Now that he had found Shadow, he thought that when he did he would feel joy, relief, pure happiness, but no. Here he was with Shadow and all he could feel was betrayed, used, and broken. Flurry could only lay there as he felt his stomach being cut out. He groaned and was smacked in the head roughly to shut him up. Eventually they finished, stitched him up, then unclamped him and Shadow began dragging him back to his cell. Flurry began crying but Shadow ignored him and shoved him into the cell. Shadow slammed the door, locked it and left. Flurry's talon traced the fresh incision, it burned so much more than all the other faded scars behind it had. Just because of how he felt about the talon that delt it. Flurry laid there, unable to do anything else. Days went by and he began to feel weak. He knew it was hunger thought he didn't feel that ache in his stomach, simply because it wasn't there. About two weeks later he couldn't move, then died. He groaned sitting up. "What did I do to deserve this?" He asked himself quietly "The curse or the betrayal?" A voice asked, Shadow walked over, throwing him a scrawny rabbit to eat. "Either.." Flurry whimpered but refused to eat after last time. "The curse, Sahara felt you deserved it for wanting her to be your enchanter. The betrayal... that is for you failing to save me. All I did for you, rescued and freed you, fixed you when your mind was dead and how do you repay me? You fail to save me." Shadow snarled before leaving. Flurry just laid down and cried.
