so, I have returned...for now... - what have i been doing? well, during this long period of inactitiveity i was able to focus more on improving my art, i even studied anatomy. i also began getting interested in writing, python, creature design, and a few other things. so far i have created at least 3 story plots for a book, but i never actually get to writing unfortunately. - why did i leave? the entire reason why I left was originally because a while ago one of my mama cats died and left her kittens alone and they were too young to take care of themselves, so we tried to take care of them but it just didn't work. we thought it may be easier to give them to another mother cat, since at the time there were 3 litters and 2 mamas left. but it only made things worse...instead she rejected them and her own, she was overwhelmed so she couldn't feed them, and they starved. most of them survived but at least 4 died :( Whisper, my beloved kitten was near death when i saved her, but she was a female cat so we couldn't keep her, so we gave her to my aunt who wasn't the most careful person. eventually since little Whisper was so small the my aunts dog snaped at her giving Whisper brain damage and she wasn't able to be saved... after that i felt sad, and took a break from scratch that eventually turned into a leaving situation since i didn't feel motivated to keep going with scratch and i eventually just quit. but now i am very busy as before especially since spring is right around the corner, so my inactivity may keep going on and to be honest most of the time i completely forgot about scratch until today when i decided to just check in. so, so, so, so......
