chapter 1: endless loop of fear. there are other words, like infinite, and perpetual, but i like interminable more. i rummage through the forests, twigs fighting me as i go forward, the sun showers light in the dark forest, but it feels endless, like im in a endless loop of fear. its all just a dream right? i reach the cot, locking the door behind me as i entered. its glowing eyes stared at me from the window. i gulped, i quickly turn off all the lights. the Luminox faded into the darkness of the outside fog. i could sense that it was stalking me as it got farther. the house was dark, it was scary, even the flashlight could harm me. "claire" i manage to say, trying to back away my sobs. i place the walkie talkie next to my mouth, it had gone cooler since it embraces my cooled breath. "its safe now." i could talk from afar, afraid that it would hear me, the luminox. she hid in the other room, i could hear her unlocking the door. claire ran to me then crouched. "any updates?" "No, just one" i sigh, wiping off my tears. a tense silence crept into the hollow cot, which fastens our heartbeats. "im hungry!"
