The project itself is like an art dump, kind of adds to the story. Storyline: It is the year 2573, and you are the captain of your space ship, The HGE. This mission is extremely important to the human race as this is the farthest ship from Earth that has ever been launched. Just as everything seems fine and the HGE is about to pick a destination to land, one of your thrusters explodes. This unexpected unbalanced thrust causes the HGE to turn towards an uncolonized planet, far, far from Earth and any other human colonization. The logs read this planet as IH-273. Due to the corrupted files from the crash, there are only 2 planet files saved, IH-273 and IH-312. As the captain, you must now lead your crew to colonize and survive on this planet by building many different items. However, non-human civilizations on nearby planets do not like your presence, which is why you get attacked every couple of minutes by their ships. You must build defenses and ships to attack them back, all in an attempt to survive with your crew. However, you can also propose an alliance with nearby species on different planets. In the end, your goal is to finally get the resources and materials to repair the HGE and head back home. Your journey starts when you manage to make alliances with neighboring civilizations. Your alliances help you fight back against aggressive civilizations. You do get attacked plenty of times but your crew strikes back. After getting enough resources to establish a space station, your crew sets its sights on a new planet, IH-312. IH-312 is a cold frozen/water planet, however, it has the key to freedom. With a new special resource called Safilus, you can repair your ship. After years of struggle you manage to land back on Earth. Your crew is called a hero, however, with so many of your own crew and other civilizations lethally hurt, are you really the hero? Years pass and you, as the “hero” of the HGE are called upon for a new job. Scientists have made a new machine that can combine animal DNAs and build new ones. As they tested this on different animals, the machine broke and released many unknown fish into the oceans of our planet. As scientists frantically worried about everyone’s safety, they launched every remaining sample into a far away ocean planet, IH-413. Now, you must go and research them in quarantine. You were specifically tasked by a scientist to go get there information and hunt down some of these new organisms. Due to your prior experience with surviving in harsh environments (and a very low budget), you only have 2 tools to help you along the way. Before long, you discover the true horrors of these organisms. As you fight for your life in the lively, yet deadly, biomes of IH-413, you think to yourself, “Was it all a dream?” Yet, you soon would be met with the answer. You record all the data you collect to send back to the greedy scientists of Earth. Now are you really the “hero”? However, before you can answer your question, something shines in the corner of your eye. You go the explore and find a wreckage containing data on how to build vehicles. You build yourself a 3-Way Prop but keep moving to find more wreckages. After finding once about building tools, you finally find what you were looking for, rocket blueprints. After realizing you could escape, you stop sending data to scientists and just hunt organisms for materials to build the rocket. After many pain staking days, you manage to build yourself a rocket that allows you to escape back to Earth and everything seems fine, however, there is someone or something that has anything but benign intentions. You caught a virus. On the way back, you start to lose your sanity and also wellbeing. You have to use up medicine and try to stay as human as you possibly can fighting the virus. In the end you manage to make it to Earth, but you know the virus is still there somewhere, hiding before it makes its final move.
