Nic was a pirated cable TV network that lasted from June 3, 2003 to August 24, 2004. The network tricked kids into seeing multiple disturbing "episodes" from shows that were illegally aired, including characters turning into disturbing and terrifying skin-walkers. It launched as a way to trick kids into thinking that they're watching Nick, when in fact, the channel spreads negative things to the kids directly. However, after multiple parent complaints, Nickelodeon became aware of the channel, and filed a lawsuit on Nic, causing them to shut down.
