:: Chapter Five, final part :: "What is it? What's the one thing worse than–" Vivana stopped herself as she was struck with a certain, horrifying thought…A person from another Power? It couldn't be. It wasn't allowed. "Iphnie, you can't be suggesting that you're–" Iphnie held up her hands to stop Vivana from speaking. "Please, Vivana, listen to me. The other races are not all bad, I promise you!" Vivana glared at Iphnie, shaking her head furiously. "Then why would you be with one of them? After what another Power did to my mum?!" the Queen asked loudly. Iphnie glared back, her normally soft expression hardening darkly. "Why would I care about your mum in this situation?!" the Head Advisor replied coldly, her wings flaring. Vivana's wings flared as well, her fists clenching at her sides. Her voice began to rise as she began to argue with Iphnie. "Because she was your Queen!" Vivana said defensively. "I don't care!" Iphnie shouted back. "You should! She'd banish you if she were still alive!" Vivana retorted. "Then I could be with him and be out of here!" Iphnie screamed. "He's brainwashed you, then!" Vivana yelled. "If you're so worried, banish me yourself!" Iphnie said icily. Vivana held up her hand, silencing Iphnie. She turned away from the other Air Spirit, her eyes closing momentarily. She walked back to her throne, up the steps, and stopped at the foot of the large, diamond seat. She grabbed her crown, placing it atop her head. Vivana opened her eyes, a regal expression falling onto her face as she turned to look at Iphnie. Iphnie looked up at the Queen with a fearful look. Vivana sighed, her eyes narrowing at the Head Advisor. "Iphnie of the Air Spirits, Head Advisor of the Queen, and daughter of Lazuli and Hyde…I, Vivana, Queen of the Air Spirits, declare you banished from the Air Spirit Kingdom." Iphnie's pale blue eyes widened, and she fell to her knees in shock. She clasped her hands together and stared up at Vivana. The Queen realized that tears were streaming down her face. "Please, Vivana, this isn't like you! Please, understand!" the Air Spirit pleaded. Vivana looked down at her former friend coldly. "Until my inevitable death, Iphnie, you shall be banished from the Air Spirits…" The look on the Queen's face was easy to interpret. 'We're. Done.'
