She washed up on the shores of The Silver Isle while it was still a rich kingdom, before Vine's overthrow. She was believed to be just days old, maybe hours. They found no other siblings. She was named Cordelia because of how she came to them. She was raised by servants in the palace, not any specific parent. Cordelia constantly stared out to sea, looking for ships and colored pelts like hers. She has never stopped wondering her whole life why she was abandoned. She barely survived Vine's reign, and now helps to rebuild the kingdom.
