The only entry with more stars than hearts! (Please keep it this way) Inspiration: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1142357570/
I like scratch. I have been unnoticed for the longest time, hopefully this is my chance. I have lots of fun making the art, especially the background. Many scratchers share their story of sharing heartwarming projects of delicate care, getting many view and uniting them with the scratch community. I, on the other hand, didn't receive such a warm welcome. The other popular scratchers discouraged me, and while I had many ideas, I wasn't skilled enough to publish high-quality games, so I just pumped out random games that came to mind, and they were terrible. These bad, low-quality games got me off the radar for a potential star, so I went on pretty much unnoticed for the longest time, beside my friends in real life. However, around 2022, I realized I should stop pumping out random, awful, low effort games and focus on quality projects that I can enjoy. This includes mostly not remixing projects, because I value originality. The first was Food vs Aliens, which took over a month. It was still terrible, but I was happier. For the next two years, I focused on large projects that have lots of content and good gameplay. While I did get distracted with other stuff, I was normally able to complete it. My most recent big project was Food vs Aliens 2 version B, which took over 6 months. However, I found another potential way to get attention: contests. As of 3/23, I entered in 2 contests, including this one. This brings us to now, when I mostly focus on contest projects. Hopefully something works.
