★A list of Stereotypes (or the ones I know of)★ Autistic people don't need to be cured; autism isn't a disease, and autistic people aren't broken Autism doesn't make people an idiot- as my wise mom said a couple days ago "the higher up you are on the spectrum, the more intelligent you are." Having autism doesn't mean they're a baby- don't treat them like one! ADHD is WAY more than just being easily distracted Having a learning disability doesn't mean someone's stupid Having a learning disability doesn't mean someone's ineducable. Having OCD doesn't just mean you're a perfectionist OCD is NOT an adjective- you can't say "That makes me so OCD." Because THAT'S NOT HOW THAT STINKIN' WORKS!! That's all I have (well, I have more, but I dunno how to word them)! Feel free to ask me to add some more-because there is TONS more! NOTE: I changed the background upon the realization that it was blue, and blue is a highly disliked color when it comes to neurodiversity.
I used Canva! For my little brother, who has ADHD and learning disabilities. For my dad, who has learning disabilities. For two of my friends who autistic. And for everyone else too! (because we all need to stop with all the stereotypes)
