This is a simulation of a robot's path during autonomous in Vex High Stakes. Each purple square/diamond represents an action/turn. The darker blue rectangle shows where the robot can intake the rings, and the black arrow shows its direction. Using this simulation speeds up the programming process because it gives me a great idea of the direction and distance my robot travels, and it allows me to avoid obstacles easily. This simulation allows me to quickly change values, such as direction and distance, without having to reset the field, pump up the robot (we use pneumatics), or line up the robot.
