When the Icewing hatched, Kestrel stormed out of that room so quickly, it was almost as if she had glided. Of course, she knew an Icewing was going to hatch, but actually seeing it there, in front of her? She seemed to be the only one who noticed--or even cared--that it was an Icewing. It made her so mad. If only she COULD throw it away, like the trash it was. But then, the Talons of Peace would never let her live. So here she was, storming away, with the only thing on her mind the disappointment of her life. The world was so bright, Snowcloud could hardly see. And, ironically enough, it was almost like there was a snow cloud blocking her view. Towards her right, she saw a deep, royal blue dragon smacking the snout of a bigger brown one, who appeared to be breaking the egg of the Blue one. "Clay, Tsunami, STOP IT!" A blue dragon with a bit of teal screamed at the two dragonets. The two let out a "Scraaaaw . . .", threatening each other. And to her left, she saw a black dragon with flecks of silver under his wings inspecting the weird beige thing with scribbles on it that appeared to be able to roll up that a sand colored dragon with a missing arm was holding. Of course, she had no idea what sand looked like, but she was pretty sure that was it. Then she turned her head, and saw a golden dragon, with green eyes, that vaguely resembled the dragon with a missing arm. When she turned around to her left, she saw a big red dragon storming out of the cave. 'I wonder why she's storming out. . . Could it have something to do with me? I mean, I don't look like any of the other dragons here. . . but only 2 of these dragonets even remotely resemble the Anyone else in the cave.' Snowcloud's mind reeled with possibilities of why this older red dragon was stomping away, with billows of smoke coming out of her snout. "And why, Snowcloud, did you eat the last chicken?" Kestrel questioned. "I-I thought tha-" Snowcloud could barely finish before Kestrel began yelling at her for eating the last chicken, and how she should 'Consider other dragons feelings'. "I tried to ask everyone if they were done, and everyone said they were! I hardly get any food, so when I saw that a chicken was available, I thought I could have it!" Snowcloud protested. It was true, too. She never got any food, and the food she did occasionally get were small scraps, that weren't even enough to count as snacks. "LIAR!" Kestrel accused. "I wasn't asked, and I bet none of the other dragonets were asked either!" "why do you hate me so much?!" Snowcloud was holding back tears. She had asked Kestrel and the other dragonets. It appeared no one payed attention. "Kestrel, stop." Web's interrupted before Kestrel could start. "She asked everyone, I know she did, and you're mean to her for no good reason! Stop being mean to her just because you're upset there's not a Skywing dragonet! You can't take your anger out on her for something that's not her fault!" Web's had walked in, overhearing the argument, in which no one COULDN'T overhear. "NO SHE DIDN'T!!! I KNOW SHE'S LYING AND THAT SHE NEVER ASKED ANYONE!!" Kestrel had smoke billowing out of her snout, and was ready to attack. "KESTREL." A big Nightwing appeared behind them, snorting out smoke. "Leave the Icewing alone. Though I do agree it's upsetting that we had to replace the Skywing, we have a backup plan incase things go south, and it's not like she did anything to you." "M-Morrowseer. . ." Kestrel took a step back at the sudden entrance of the large dragon. 'So this is who they were clueing was coming. . . It doesn't seem like he appreciates me either, but understands I'm important for the prophecy either way. . .' Snowcloud had so many questions, and saw that several of the other dragonets were trying to attack Morrowseer. Snowcloud would, but didn't feel like being hated by anyone else. Except, of course, one of the dragons who had to talk with Morrowseer next, where none of the dragonets could here. Later that day, Snow cloud slept alone in the coldest cave she could find. The cave had a hole big enough to take sips of water from the river or dip her tail in so that she could try and be colder. She couldn't sleep near the other dragonets, the heat of which was insufferable and made her want to jump into the river and never come out. "Snowcloud, you good?" Tsunami appeared behind her, seemingly ready to jump into the water. "Yeah, just, you know. . ." She couldn't finish the sentence, although Tsunami could probably see what she meant. "Same as always." She managed to finish. "Want to take a swim?" Tsunami offered. "I mean, it's night time, so it's probably extra cold." "Sure." Snowcloud got up, and walked outside to the river. (Check credits for continued)
continued) Snowcloud lowered herself in slowly, managing to savor every last bit of the sudden chilliness. "What are you doing up so late?" Snowcloud asked, while silently wondering why Tsunami even cared how she felt. "Couldn't sleep." Tsunami said, paddling around in the water. "And I could ask you, the same thing." "Same, except I had to process more than you. What with Kestrel and all." Snowcloud sunk deeper into the water, waiting for the right time to fully submerge herself. "Fair. But there's one other thing I figure I should tell you. . ." Tsunami let the words hang in the air, seeing if Snowcloud would respond before finishing. "If you won't tell anyone, we need your help to escape." END Ok, this for sure needs a part 2, and if enough people want me to, I'll do one for my Glacier what if and this one. (Also, there WILL be more what if's like this, because I LOVE doing this, it gives me a chance to write about my favorite fandom and share it with you!) I'll also make a studio for all my what if's once I have enough. Glacier what if: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1144578628/
