As soon as Rose can support herself Rushi steps in front of us, his hand resting on his blade. He eyes the other student suspiciously. “Who are you?” he asks. The other student ignores us, returning to his food. “I asked you a question,” Rushi growls. I place a hand on his shoulder, and he relaxes slightly. “Thanks for saving us,” I say. “We’ll…go now.” I lead them to the edge of the roof, Rose climbs down first swinging through the open window onto the third floor. Rushi glances at the other student before following. I pause and glance back at the student. “I didn’t catch your name…?”
