Okay, here comes an embarrassing story... (BTW, I'm a girl, just so there's no confusion. :)) So, I'm in band, and I play the flute. I auditioned for two honor bands last year: SWOBDA and Shortgrass. And guess what? I made Shortgrass! And I was the only one of TWO people from my grade who got in it! (The grade above had only one.) Anywho... the other guy who got in (I'll call him "Trombone" here because he plays the trombone and I don't want to give his real name) is this really nice guy; he let me play Super Smash Bros. on his Nintendo Switch with him on the trip and he's really funny. So, anyway, we went to Shortgrass, played our songs, had fun, yada yada... And Trombone and I became kind of friends. (I mean, we were already somewhat acquaintances before, but we kind of bonded more on the trip.) But, to continue on the kind of friends thing: this year, in History, our teacher chose two people in our class to "run for president" as an example for the lesson we were talking about. Trombone was one of them. Then our teacher told the two of them to pick a "vice president". And, you guessed it, Trombone picked me. He had other friends in that class, but he picked me instead. So, here's what happened the other day... My mom and I were in the car when, out of the blue, she casually asked, "So what do you think of Trombone?" (Obviously, she didn't say "Trombone", she said his real name.) I was like, "WHAT?! MOM STOP!!" And she said, "Okay, okay, just asking..." But it's haunted me ever since. Because I have NEVER, NOT ONCE, liked someone before. I mean, Trombone MAY like me... MAYBE. But I just like him as a friend. But what do you think? Has something like this ever happened to you? Tell me in the comments! Bye!! :D
