This was kind of rushed <3 ----- Flowers: Magnolia, rose, orchid, snow drop, zinnia, dahlia. ----- Story: Alina sighs, looking out the plane window. She would miss the snow falling from the sky, all her friends, her house, her room, everything. To put it into simpler terms she is moving to a place that her parents say she will enjoy. Alina would only say, “But how am I supposed to be happy without having my friends and the snow?” Her parents would never listen, they would only say the same things, “You will enjoy it,” “It will be nice making new friends,” “You will have a better life than what you had always been.” Before she had ever left the place her friends gave her a bouquet of flowers ... mostly picturing roses, dahlias, and zinnias. They said that they will never forget Alina... She missed her friends, but she knew her parents would never allow her to go back to that place... -------- Alina sat in her new room; it was... bigger than her earlier one... but she did not like how big it was. She started unpacking her stuff, arranging them. Her parents had taped a message to her door ... “Alina, me and your father are meeting the townspeople. We will come back with dinner ... love you!” A beautiful magnolia flower and rose was left on the floor ... Well, that is a little strange ... Alina thought as she picked it up. I wish I could see snow again... People at school were not nice—they never spoke to Alina, they even started laughing and playing tricks on her. Alina sighed as she walked out of the school. Words those kids said were swirling around in her mind, she could not erase them. As she was walking home, she noticed a flower laying on the ground ... why was there a flower? Who knew why. She picked it up ... it was a purple and white flower with two almost symmetrical sides ... she realized it was an orchid flower. Why do I keep finding random flowers ...? She opens the door to her house and walks to her room. She arranged the flowers she has in a specific way. But she never tried to figure out what it means... ----- About three weeks after winter began ... One morning Alina saw snow falling from the sky ... she was amazed ... how could it snow here? She never knew that it could snow here, it was fairly rare. She went outside catching the snowflake. After a few hours of enjoying the snowfall ... she noticed a snow drop flower laying at the sidewalk. She grabbed it ... realizing what the flowers met. “Your friends will be yours forever, your love for snow and nature is bright and beautiful. Your beauty cannot be seen by the naked eye of a selfish person, but one who is hopeful, pure, and loves you will. You have the hope and strength to find yourself again...” Word Count: 490 words
