Controls A - show/hide administrative divisions G - show/hide glaciers Dimensions 1920 × 960 (cf. previous 960 × 480) The Scratch grid is only 960 x 720 (each pixel² corresponds to four pixels² on Scratch) so scrolling is required... but at least we get more detail :D
The Mollweide projection (invented 1805 by Karl Mollweide) projects the world into a 2:1 ellipse, with the most distortion around the edges and poles although it is an equal-area projection. Disputed boundaries are not shown for clarity, however I decided to show Taiwan, Kosovo, and Palestine as independent nations The Kakhovka reservoir is still depicted here for some reason... it was destroyed by Russian forces in June 2023 Subdivisions shown Canada (provinces, territories) United States (states) Mexico (states) Brazil (states) Argentina (provinces) United Kingdom (countries) † France (regions) † Spain (autonomous communities) † Belgium (regions) † Germany (states) † Austria (states) † Italy (regions) † Bosnia and Herzegovina („autonomous entities“) Russia (federal subjects) † Nigeria (provinces) † Ethiopia (regions) South Africa (provinces) China (provinces, ARs) India (states) Pakistan (provinces) Australia (states, territories) † not shown on the 960 × 480 map Everything here shown is made on Scratch, except for the urban areas, which were made using Natural Earth data and QGIS.
