This is a game about colonizing space. Your goal is to "max out" everything. (Get all the achievements) You start with Earth. You have 7.4 billion people on Earth. Click on a planet or the Moon to send a rocket there. Your rockets start out slow, so it is not recommended to go for far-away planets to start. Start on the Moon! Your colonies have set birth and death rates. The harder it is to colonize a place, the slower the colony there will grow. For instance, a Moon colony (close to Earth) might grow faster than a Venus colony (horrid planet that could melt lead and crush you flat) The only way you can manipulate these numbers is to send rockets containing more people. Be careful. Sometimes, random Disasters occur. They wipe out a certain fraction of your afflicted colony's population, based on a formula that if you are curious about, you can click See Inside to find. UFOs may occasionally show up to try to abduct some people from any planet. If the UFO tries to take people from an uncolonized planet, it will get confused and go away. But if it gets a colonized planet, it can seriously impact a colony's numbers. When a UFO shows up, Earth's missiles arm, and you can shoot a UFO by pressing spacebar, and you will shoot a missile in the direction of your mouse. Try to shoot it down! In the bottom left, there are upgrades and boosts. For 1 Research Point (Which I will explain later) you can "rush" your currently flying rocket to get it to it's destination fast. For 5 Research Points, you can cram 10 more people in all subsequent rockets, and for 10 Research Points, you can slightly increase the speed of ALL rockets, as opposed to the "rush" boost, which makes a rocket VERY fast, but only for a few seconds. All of these upgrades and boosts are re-buyable again and again. You can get Research Points in many ways. One is that Earth constantly creates Research Points at a set rate, starting at 1 every 30 seconds, but you can decrease that interval. (via means I will explain later) Another is to shoot down UFOs. Every UFO you shoot down will give you 1 Research Point. This is a very efficient way to get Research Points. Finally, if you amass a lot of Research Points, for 30 Research Points, if you have at least 100 people on each planet, you can send an Interstellar Ship to OTHER SOLAR SYSTEMS. You must pay 30 Research Points, and sacrifice 100 people from each planet and the Moon, but when you do, it not only sends 1000 people to the Greater Beyond, but it decreases the 30-second interval for Earth making Research Points. (The one I talked about earlier.) It decreases the interval by 1 second per ship, all the way up to 29 ships. Oh, and those little blue ships whizzing around? Supply ships. No purpose except to make the game a bit more realistic and explain why the colonies survive. Oh, wait, one last warning: In order to truly win, you might have to play actively for half an hour or more, or passively for an hour or more. I hope you've got time. Sorry the instructions list was so long.
