Space or click for next slide. I filled this in for a bit of fun! Glossary of terms used in this project: Ace: A shorthand for Asexual. An Asexual person feels no sexual attraction to anyone, regardless of gender. This identity is part of the Asexual spectrum, which includes other identities with limited/no sexual attraction, including attraction that only occurs in specific circumstances. Biromantic: Romantic attraction to more than one (two or more) genders. Uranic: Attraction to men/masc-aligned and nonbinary gender identities. Also described as attraction to non-female/fem-aligned genders. (I am specifically Uranic-romantic) Frayromantic: An identity on the aromantic spectrum, where romantic attraction fades/decreases with time/increased understanding of/relationship with a person. Basically, the more I know and care for a person, the less I want to date them. Can be accuratley described as the opposite of Demiromantic. This is different to commitment issues, since (in my experience) a Frayromantic person may still wish to pursue and maintain a romantic relationship, but feels their romantic attraction fading no matter what they do. It is also not a question of fault, since (in my case at least) by all other metrics the relationship could be going fantastically and both partners care deeply for each other. Transgender: Having a gender identity different to that assigned to you at birth. Often shortened to Trans. Nonbinary: A gender identity existing outside the traditional gender binary of male and female. Demiboy: A gender identity that feels 'half' or partially male/masc-aligned, possibly partially another gender as well. Falls under the nonbinary umbrella, and is sometimes described as 'a nonbinary individual who feels partially connected to masculinity'. Genderfluid: An umbrella term under the nonbinary umbrella (though a genderfluid individual does not have to identify as or feel that they are nonbinary) that describes having a gender/genders that change regularly/over time and is/are therefore 'fluid'. Genderfaun: A gender identity under the genderfluid umbrella that describes a genderfluid identity that does not fluctuate into female, fem-aligned or similar genders unless they also happen to be masc-aligned or aligned to an additional gender identity that is not feminine in nature. Can also be described as a gender identity that fluctates between male/masc-aligned genders and non fem-aligned nonbinary gender identities.
