After many cycles, the cyan lizards of the upper lands evolved further, and as their strange rocket tails adapted, miracles happened. The lizard were able to create small wormholes to leap through! The species grew larger and heavier because of their newfound ease of hunting. I imagine that right after the lizard forms the portal, before they jump through it you would have a small window to throw a rock through it to hit its head and screw up the attack. The lizards would also have a small amount of time after teleporting where they can’t bite to make them not impossible to deal with.
