Just a silly quick entry :D Oh my gosh when I saw these gorgeous moodboards I knew I had to enter!! Funny story (I'm gonna yap now so feel free to scroll down to my design notes and stuff XD) For my high school art project I've actually chosen to illustrate a few acts from julius caesar!! So recently I've been designing and drawing a bunch of roman guys so this was right up my alley! I was going to choose the Julius caesar moodboard actually for like, obvious reasons but then I saw this one and liked it a bit better and decided to go with this instead! I just love designing greek/roman clothing haha so this was a blast to design :3 Plus I'll take any excuse for me to draw more humans. Also so clarify I'm not very good at history or anything so the design maay be historically inaccurate lol- Okay I'm done onto the design lmao Notes : So I decided to try and design a character that looks like he might've lived in this time period! And don't ask why but this moodboard was giving street performer vibes haha, so that's what I went for! A street drummer who uses like random pots as his instruments also, please excuse my complete inability to draw hands helpp I also included a quick coloured sketch because I was just doodling and ended up liking it waay too much (Ignore that I forgot the braid in the sketch) I actually love how this came out, so even if you have no need for this design I'll probably keep him :D Anywayss that's it from me hope you like it! Now for my design preferences, in case you like this design enough :3 I thought I might as well give you something historical/mythological to go off too haha, hmm could you possible design something based off of the three fates from greek mythology? Idk I read about them recently and I think they would be super cool to base a character off of! It can be anthro, human or feral, I don't mind!
