Nova Crew Leader Nova Prime, the one who started this whole problem. Cybertron was torn apart by a war, a fight over the energy of the planet. The Decepticons lead by Overlord and the Chaos Trinity wanted to conquer other planets to purge them for energy to fuel the hungry engines of Cybertron. Autobot Leader Sentinel Prime sent Nova Prime and others on an expedition to find planets that could ethically sustain Cybertron for millennia. On this journey the Nova Prime would encounter the Messengers of Unicron and be tricked into entering the Dead Universe. The spacecraft would be ravaged by Waruders and Virulent Clones as they trekked deeper into the Dead Universe, eventually Nova Prime would find a Matrix. He believed that from opening this Matrix it would give him immense power and save him and his crew, little did he know this was the Matrix of Chaos, a creation of Unicron. When he released the Matrix it would mutate the ones in the blast range, him and his crew would be left behind by Atlas and the entire Nova Expedition would remain a legend.
