Managed to finish this pretty quickly actually! I was thinking of rendering it, but I just did another rendered piece last night and unfortunately I do not think I have the capacity to do two fully rendered pieces in a row, so ended up just going with 'soft' / gradient-like shading and lighting. If I were to do scratch-style comic panels, then this is very much not what a comic panel in my current style would look like. I'd go with the canvas size I used for soas, the lines would just be how they look upon me drawing them (so no lineart cleanup / what makes the lineart look good), and the eyes would be what the eyes look like in the comic strips I've shared on main. But I'm not making a 40-panel chapter in two weeks right now so I just decided to draw this piece like any other art I would :DD In general, I like this! Drawing smug cats with longer cheek fur can and will always be one of my favorite things to draw. Thanks for having me on for this project, and happy early 4th anniversary for fitd :] Art by me / @VenusWolfeMF / FLAAMECORE Character, FITD, design, and the og panel by @LinkScratchStar
