so. i don't usually write short stories, but in drama class today we had an interesting assignment, in which we were given short, vague exchanges of dialogue and we had to fill in the story around it and then perform it. so this wasn't entirely original -- i worked with a partner and a dialogue sample to form the plot, though the writing is all mine (apart from a few dialogue lines lol) word count | 1081
