As long as I am alive, the legacy shall not die.. that is my promise to my people." · · ────── ꒰ঌ·✦·໒꒱ ────── · · The Angel's Choir is a previously unknown group that seems to have newly formed upon reaching the new territories. They're a quite secretive organization, with motives known not to the clan cats, but at least from the outside they appear peaceable, with no intentions but to coexist harmoniously. ..How easily they trust. · · ────── ꒰ঌ·✦·໒꒱ ────── · · INTRODUCTION The Choir is a group with structures similar to that of the late Serpentine Dynasty, although still recognizable as a separate entity due to the changes made its founder, Seraph's Halo. They are made up of primarily cats whose ancestry lies in the Serpentine Dynasty, and specifically seek out those who are too young to truly understand their roots, offering them an invitation. Despite catering mainly to the serpent's descendants, they occasionally take in loners as well, though these cats must undergo thorough assessment to ensure they have no loyalties to the clans. On the outside, they present themselves as a pacifistic group who claims to follow the light of someone called Medusa. From their display to their individual identities, The Choir is decorated heavily in facades. · · ────── ꒰ঌ·✦·໒꒱ ────── · · PURPOSE Unlike the Dynasty, The Choir was not founded simply for a home. Their aim is not to live in peace with the clans, but to get revenge. Seraph's Halo founded it under the false (unbeknownst to her) belief that her mother, Maelstromspire, was murdered in cold blood by ThunderClan for her association with the Dynasty — her promoting her narrative of the clans being cruel and heartless to The Choir is what drives their actions and loyalty. Those who do not devote themselves fully to the group and attempt to leave are considered threats to the group's secrecy, and will have a bounty placed on them for their capture or death. They do not have the pure intentions the Dynasty did. The Choir is a group, but before that a wide plot to overturn the clans and bring back the former glory of the Dynasty into a new group. Though meant to be a legacy, please keep in mind it is not — or at the least, it is a corrupted version of one. · · ────── ꒰ঌ·✦·໒꒱ ────── · · RANKING Due to the group's size, there is only one leader who oversees all aspects, called the Virtuoso. Beneath the Virtuoso are two Disciples, who act similarly to deputies. They're typically selected to 'round out' the Virtuoso's skillset, so the Virtuoso can prioritize what they excel in most, while the Disciples will take care of smaller matters they're well-suited for. - Disciples can be any age above 6 moons when selected. They are considered apprentices under the Virtuoso for the first 15 moons of their time served, then will receive their full name/new full name after completing this training. - When the Virtuoso no longer holds their position, the Disciples have two moons to campaign to the rest of the group. They can do this through any means they wish - diplomacy, an individual showcase of skill, a duel, etc. Acolytes are equivalent to warriors. Students are equivalent to apprentices. They graduate at 16 moons of age. Sages are equivalent to elders. And of course, kits are simply kits. There are no designated healers within The Choir. Everyone is expected to have a basic understanding of medicine, although often times the Virtuoso/Disciples have an advanced knowledge and can be consulted for more severe ailments. · · ────── ꒰ঌ·✦·໒꒱ ────── · · NAMING Within their own group, their names follow the structure of the traditional Dynasty names. However, they must use titles with outsiders. Each cat has their designated title given by the Virtuoso once they become an acolyte. !! OOC, you will be given options for your Dynasty-style name, but the title is of your choosing !! Students are not typically sent out to interact with outsiders, but on the off chance they must and an acolyte is not present, they are to give the title of a parent only if absolutely necessary. Examples of titles include - 'The Forager', 'The Doctor', 'The Siren', etc. The Virtuoso will, in addition to their title and true name, have a highly secret one-word name for members to use outside of safety as a codeword, almost. For example, Seraph's Halo's is 'Medusa' – insiders or anyone approved as safe to interact with can be identified with a certain greeting using this false name: "May we meet under [FALSE NAME]'s light."
