sorry for delays. I’m a Highschooler now and i’m swamped with a lot of work now. but i’v pulled time while listening to a school podcast to make this. So first is my newest horse Icarus who is getting a bio soon (sorry bout that Holly) but he’s a Welsh Cob that i’m training in basic western stuff since i mostly have english horses, but ride western IRL and wanted to show more of that stuff. We just did some steering practice over and around obstacles in the arena like I do in real life classes. After Icarus i’ve got Apollo. He’s also new, and i’m training him in dressage, a bit of trail, and just a fun to ride horse. He loves music and performs better when i play some. he’s doing great so far, but needs more muscle development, so i’v been walking him around on a lead for a while trying to help with that. Ghost and I did some cross country training and some stretches to help with his muscles. i’v found that he gets really tight after riding, and this is one of the things we do to help. he’s gonna get a professional massage in a few days too. After Ghost i pulled out Fives and went along the same course that i went along with Ghost. Fives has a sensitive mouth so we have to use a bitless bridle on him. i’m also not a fan of bits so i’m training a few of my horses off of them, and a few like Lynx have bit trauma and can’t ever be ridden with one. I grabbed Sunflower from the pasture and went on a small walk through the new area i had added to my property. it’s a large flower field that I purchased so that my bees could have a local source that had no pesticides in the soil or hurting the plants. I use the honey the bees make to eat or put in medicinal mixes for my horses and me. later that day I got out Lynx and went on a short ride to the same flower pasture for a photoshoot before going on a real ride. I may enter her in a trail or endurance class soon. She’s recovering well from how I got her. She probobly will never be ridden with a crop or bit ever again. (i did not list spurs because i don’t use those. Spurs may be flashy and okay to wear OFF a horse, but not on one, unless it’s those really small english ones. but still, no spurs for me!) but she’s got bad owner trauma. And last of all, I did some halter handling with a horse i bred with one of Dasiiyu’s horses. i don’t have a name for her yet, but i’m choosing soon.
