I will be bringing back Onyx in a later update .) ---------------------------- (In the deep forest of ebony and mahogany trees, a fox cub, small in size and weak, barely able to hunt a few rabbits, appears. It is unsure of how it got in this strange place. It knows that this is no ordinary forest, cursed with enemy foxes with strange abilities, and undiscovered secrets about it. But the supernatural forces of this forest gives the little fox abilities as well. Little does it know, that it was brought here with a purpose..) ---------- Welcome to Ebony, an open-world RPG game where you are a feral fox and can collect, sell, buy, and grind for many different fox skins! Every fox has different abilities. Some might have useful ones for different battles, while others might not. Use your abilities to your advantage! Defeating enemies will give you experience points(EXP), coins, and even a chance for moonstones, which can be used for events. You can also talk to Basalt in the game for quests, where you can get extra rewards! She can give you certain quests, like defeat THIS number of enemies for THIS number of coins, points, or EXP. ------------------ HOW TO PLAY - Use arrow keys to move! Press and hold [A] while walking to sprint! Press [Space] to jump! - Click on the little sign things that say "To: Intro" or "To: Shop" to navigate between areas! - Be careful, though! Navigating through some areas might be risky, as some enemies might show up. You can choose whether you want to fight or not. However, sometimes the enemy(s) can still hear you, even if you chose not to fight, and will summon either way. - Press [G] to use your normal attack, and press [F] to use your ability! Remember, different foxes have different abilities. Different abilities can have longer or shorter cooldowns, depends on their strength, or range of attack. - Click on Chrome's shop to open it! There you'll see a variety of crates and chests. Click on the type of crate/chest you want to look at, and it'll show you the chances of getting each material/skin. You can then choose whether to use up some of the currency you have to roll the crate/chest. Results vary! You might get the same item, which then the selling option is useful! - When you open the shop, you'll see a green square that says: [Sell a skin.] Click it (if you want to sell a skin, of course) and follow the instructions! - In the Abyss area, click on Basalt to get quests. If you already have a quest, she will ask you if you want a new one. If you do, type in "Yes." If not, instead type in "No." Once you finish a quest, you will receive your reward, and if you go talk to her, she will give you a new quest immediately. - Click on "Info about fox" to learn about your fox's abilities! You can also save your progress or rename yourself. You can also see how much experience points you have, or how much more you need to level up. Defeat enemies and complete quests to receive experience points! - Click on the paw icon on the top-right side of your screen to hunt. It will ask you if you already know how to hunt, then read the instructions on the screen. - If you start losing health even when you're not fighting, you must be starving to death. Keep watching over your hunger and make sure it doesn't reach 0. - You can earn moonstones by chance after defeating an enemy. You can also earn some by completing certain quests! - Click on the little icon at the bottom-left of your screen to change your skin! If you don't have a certain skin, it will be locked. - When it gets very dark, press [S] to sleep. You will get older and bigger as time goes by! ----------------------------- HUNTING - Jump right when the bar hits green to get prey! - Press [I] to see the prey you have. Press [E] to hide it! Press [1] to eat. ----------------------------- QUESTS - Quest results vary. You can always change the quest you have by clicking on Basalt again. - You cannot save and load quests. Feature coming soon! -Click on the "quests" button on the screen to look at the quests you have! If you don't have any quests, there will be nothing there. You can only have one quest at a time! -------------------- SAVING YOUR PROGRESS - Go into [Info About Fox] to open the screen to save. Then click on the button that says: [Save.] Click the numbers in the list 3-5 times and right-click. Click Ctrl+C. Then press [Enter.] On the keyboard. Then go into the project and right-click the list of [Skins] and click on: [Export](Repeated:) Go INTO the project. Recommended: Save the list in a folder so you don't lose it, or just to keep track of it! Also keep your save code in a Word document, and don't delete it!
