The A4M is Javonesia`s upgraded model of the Umbran exported KVA4 which was introduced in 2013 to modernize the 30 year old tanks. The upgrade involved adding a layer of modular armour on the turret including mantlet protection, underbelly layer and hull add-on to withstand the greater forces seen in todays technologies, as well as replacement of some onboard computers, increasing its overall efficiency and accuracy.
So far 50/100 KVA4`s have undergone the change which is almost at the projects goal of maintaining a 70% modernized fleet. Click for next slide.
