title: HL9* (hope lost nine*) included ocs: Ellie, NX83V, Azrael, Ves, Pluto arcs: Orphan, Fire, Lost, Home brief explanation of events: Ellie is abandoned by her family after coming out as transfem, which leads her to the Venus Orphanage (owned by Ves). Azrael picks up the weekly news to see something about how there had been a recent outbreak of buildings catching fire– and how Venus Orphanage would most likely be next if it continued in a pattern. Ellie does not believe the paper and ignores it. The orphanage catches fire a few days later, leaving Ellie without Azrael and lost on the streets. NX83V is summoned the next day. spirit context/world lore: Spirits (ie. NX83V) are randomly named (letters and numbers) creatures that are summoned after a traumatic event in someone's childhood. Not everyone has a spirit, due to the fact that not everyone has childhood trauma. Children with trauma may also not get a spirit.
