Me and my friends asked my gym teacher if we could hang up a pride flag on the flag pole outside, and he said no. We came back and said that we would pay for it our selves, but he still said no! We started a petition and got over 200 people, including teachers to sign. The substitute teacher for my social studies class tried to shut the petition down! She said "Our current president Donald Trump wouldn't like this!" We gave the petition to our gym teacher, and he refused! He's mean to kids who are LGBTQIAPN2S+, and nice to kids that are homophobic! Someone at my school drew a pride flag on the blacktop near the playground and some boys (no offense to boys) stole water bottles and poured water all over the pride flag. I had an idea to draw a bunch more pride flags of all sorts on the blacktop. I told my friends about the idea, and they helped me collect a bunch of chalk and convince other people to join us! We gathered after school and drew everything. The next day at school people were calling it the "Rainbowtop". We the same thing every day for about 2 or 3 weeks. -Hazeloceangem
