The 7 stars represent the 7 great leaders: Comrade Gru, Comrade Bob, Comrade Kevin, Comrade Phil, Comrade Nefario, Comrade Stuart and Comrade Jerry and the bananas represent Bananaland and its famous and delicious plant, the Banana. After the Great Minion-Miloshu War, the minions seized the territory and incorporated it into the Great Union of Minionia, the Miloshu residents were either deported or used as labour in the Banana factories and fields. In the Second Great Minion-Miloshu War, the territory was retaken by the Miloshu government and was annexed into an autonomous region.
