Luckily, a burly man came to save the day. He wielded a katana with skill as he skillfully sliced the demon's neck. you shivered in fear, holding your younger sibling close to you, their eyes wide as they watched your aggressor and savior tussle. The strange man sheathed his blade, turning to face you with a concerned look in his eyes. he crouched down in front of you and your sibling, gently patting your heads. "It's fine, you can stand up now," He smiled softly with a concerned gaze, his voice soothing. Noticing the lack of motion, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a shiny rock, a smile on his face. "Here, take it," He clearly was bad at reading people but he was making a genuine attempt to cheer you up.
