I call them… *overenthusiastic drum roll* … The Outfitter! I know no one will make a mod of this, but I still wanted to make this :) ~~~~~~~~Stats~~~~~~~~ Lung Capacity: 0.9 Throwing Skill: 2 Spear Damage: 1.5 Speed: 1.4 (Slower with armor) Mass: 1 (Heavier with armor) Loudness: 0.8 (Louder with armor) Food: ◉ ◉ ◉ ◉ ◉ ◉ ◉| ◉ ◉ Carnivore Diet (Hunter) ~~~~~~Gimmicks~~~~~~ The Outfitter’s signature gimmick is, surprise surprise, to outfit themselves in the protective pieces of their enemies! They can take and wear both centipede arm plates (red and regular) and lizard head armor (they were supposed to be wearing one in the art, but it was too hard to draw). I haven’t exactly decided how the armor would work. I think it would have an increased chance to deflect a bite or spear the more armor you have, but it would make you slower, heavier, and less stealthy. ~~~~Other Stuff~~~~ Starting Karma Cap: 5 Starting Region: Subterranean Spawns are more common and harder than Hunter spawns. Explosive spears are pretty common. Starting reputation is low. ~~~~~Campaign~~~~~ (After Gourmand, before Survivor.) The campaign would open without any cutscene, with the gate from Outer Expanse to Subterranean closing behind you. You have been banished by the slugcat tribe, and the path forward is yours to decide. You can go to Five Pebbles, where he will give you the mark of communication and karma 10. With the mark you can understand echoes and Looks to the Moon. Moon has a bit of dialogue, but it isn’t important for anything. Echoes will function just as they would for Survivor. Ending 1-Ascension: Works as normal like any other slugcat, but at the end of the cutscene, after seeing the slugtree, they look up and echo tendrils sprout from their body. Ending 2-Vengeance: How dare they turn you away like this. Your own kind. Traitors! You return to the slugtree and face your tribe. Gourmand is the protector of the slugcats, so you do battle with him. You succeed in killing him, and silently walk past the tree into the world beyond. You will find a new home, without them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wow, you read through all that, huh?
