2 years ago on this day! Oml! I cant even write this! It makes me cry js to think about it, but its important and I need to tell y'all! 5 years ago my parents bought me the most amazing POA horse! She was 10 yrs old and 14 hh. I rode her all. the. time I just used her as a companion horse and rode her bareback or English and western in the trails. I just walk and trotted on her, nothing to much and no shows! one day we had to sell her, I was devastated honestly it worse than selling cause you know they are alive but you can't have them! She was sold to this barn a few states away to a lesson barn, she was happier there! I told them to at least send pics of her every now and then. but one day the hardest message came!! they said she passed away, she was put down after getting a disease!
I couldn't breathe , Maisy... my Maisy! I vowed to never ride again, my parents never let me get another horse, at least until I am ready! I never told anyone, I was too scared! the memories come flooding and I cant breathe and I just keep remembering her nicker, all the times she bucked, her running in the paddock to see me! I remember the first time I rode her, she was so smooth and she listened to me! She listened carefully to me, as if she knew that were only going to have three years together!! I will add pics later and more stories of her but you can always ask me anything! That's what memories are for right?
