Wildflowerspring walked near the back of the clan as they made their way to the new territory, making sure that no one was left behind. His mind was spinning, thoughts darting all around. He couldn't believe they were actually here. After such a long journey, he'd wondered if they'd ever find home again. But they had. Tears pricked at his eyes, and he wiped at them, telling himself that he could cry once they actually got there, but not now. Wildflowerspring couldn't wait to see the new territory. The scouting group that had come back had said it looked beautiful. Lush fields of grass and flowers, a wide open moor... To him, it almost sounded too good to be true. But he was going to hope for it. When they first crossed into their new territory, the point when they could actually see it, the deputy audibly gasped. It was even more beautiful than he had imagined. Now he was unable to stop himself, and tears flowed freely from his eyes. It would be perfect for Windclan. They would no longer have to hide away from the heat of the desert, but they would still have open land to run. As they came to the place where they would be setting up camp, he realized that they would also still have tunnels. Just not as deep, or dark. He was relieved that the tunnelers would still have something to do, but /he/ wouldn't have to live underground. After making sure that everyone was accounted for and helping to start setting a few things up, Wildflowerspring took a moment to gaze at their new home alone. He stood atop a short hill, looking out at the land that lay before him with a mix of hope and pride. A gust of wind blower against his fur, and he chuckled, leaning against it as if greeting an old friend. Even the wind was still here. Of course it was. This was Windclan, after all. It would never leave them. Wildflowerspring glanced around, spotting a group of brightly colored daffodils waving in the wind nearby. He smiled, plucking one. He wasn't sure what he'd do with it, but it felt like a good memento for his first day in Windclan's new territory. "Μια νέα αρχή." He told himself. Un nouveau départ. A new beginning.
