The reason why the skin and hair are lighter is because when I was adding the color, I had the character reference at 80% opacity T-T It’s like so hard to find DTAs and other contests with bipedal creatures ToT. Like, I stoped drawing feral a while ago, and now I can’t find literally anything to join… Thankfully I found this though :) Basically, for the first one I had a sketch, and got so attached to the sketch that I somehow turned it into the line-art. Like, I had a super messy sketch, and instead of drawing over it like normal, I just erased bits of it and traced over some parts. Was it hard? Yes, Was it worth it? Yeah, I think so. I will probably add more to this. Character Bio: Name: Mensis Pronouns - They/He Personality: Blunt. Has like no filter. Favorite color: Gray and Yellow Birthday: 3100 BCE - Forgot the exact date More info: Mensis is an office worker for the God of Time, Tempus. He’s a “little” overworked because he has literally never had a day off. Sleep deprived and over exhaustion causes him to be snarky when talking to people. They’re straightforward and like to get work done efficient. They’ve been working for thousands of years, and have a lot of experience dealing with humans and other nosy creatures. Each of the twelve months is basically a notepad/journal where they writes down what’s going to happen for the other workers such as Pluvia (Rain) and Feriatum (Holiday). They originally split their time with 10 notepads, but later moved onto 12 because it worked better with Tempore (Season). They have also given each of their notepads a name to help keep track of them, (I’m not going to list all the names, but I’m sure you get the gist). He tries his best to dress properly when he can, but sometimes he just doesn’t feel like putting effort into how he looks. Februarius (February) accidentally had a few of its pages torn and damaged, so he keeps what he writes in there short in order to conserve pages. Yir (Year) is his direct superior once in a while (every four years) pesters him to write more in Februarius. Mensis doesn’t know how he came to be, but he does know that the pesky creatures know as humans like to think they created him. Of course, he doesn’t believe them. As for other relationships… they may or may not have something going on with Lunae (Moon)… Wow, I wrote so much. I basically have a whole universe and hierarchy structure. Gosh. Except for Year, all the names are basically just Latin. Just don’t check anything for accuracy because I used Google translate. Did I sneak in some real world facts disguised as background info? Yes, yes I did.
