Springs as a child and even now are GOATED thanks to this place. The annual tulip festival at Thanksgiving point! (Not sharing anymore info on where it is since scratch team would probably get mad at me) The most beautiful place in the world probably. Thanksgiving point is THE place to be during springs and summers. The tulip festival takes place every year in the spring, and they also have golf, the most EPIC museums you've ever seen, and more! They also have a lot of spiritual sculptures (LDS Church) showing different scenes in the scriptures. Including the first vision, Jesus walking on water, and the recently opened a tree of life exhibit, which I watched a document about, it's so awesome. The tulip festival and Thanksgiving point altogether holds a very dear place in my heart. And I'm gonna be talking about each of my favorite places. The tulip festival: Holy cow, just plain beautiful. I remember that the waterfall near the end of the park was always my favorite part. They played live music and there were always food trucks with hot dogs and snow cones. The food trucks were at the top of the MASSIVE hill leading down to the aphathetetre and waterfall behind it. And you already KNOW we rolled down every single time. Worth having grass stains every time. There were also other creeks in the park that we got to feed the fish in and man the FLOWERS! Whosever job it is to take care of all those needs a raise yesterday. Just letting you know that there are so many more flowers than what you see in those pics. Dinosaur museum: Goated. Just goated. I was so in love with dinosaurs when I was a kid. Yes I'm a girl. Girls can like dinosaurs too. >:( there was this place where they just put sand in water and let us play with it. I dunno, don't ask me. There was another place where there was a sandpit and we kids all got brushes and dug up some fake dinosaur bones. Dreams came true right there. Of course they also had real dinosaur bones on display all over the place. And there weren't just dinosaurs, too. There were giant sloths, and giant turtles. Awesome. There was another section that was space themed. How you got there was walking into a dark room on a slim pathway and if you looked down it was like staring into the abyss. There were stars all around that make the room look like it went on forever. Then there was the space exhibit where my obsession of space was born and continues to thrive. I was going to talk about more, but I think I'll do that in another project.
