Snowy - District Five ____ Snowy stumbles on their feet for a second before quickly stabilizing themself, staring down at the people below. He's never been up this high. They've never really been anywhere high before. It's almost dizzying, but at the same time, it's beautiful. He lowers himself to the floor, the outfit he was draped in; a somewhat lacy gown of blues and whites; hanging partially through the grates on the sides and off the side of the platform. The light reflects off their metallic leg, giving it a bright orange sheen unlike it's normal color. He turns down to look at the people below him. These people seem to have some misguided hope that they'll be able to win this, cheering for them and those in their district. He feels pity rise up in his chest, mixing with disgust. Even so, this is a nice moment. And they won't have many more of these. He gets to his feet and stares into the star-speckled sky. The wind is quite strong, but they steady themself, using their leg as a weight. He looks over the edge and towards the lanterns, reaching a tentative paw out to the closest one, and managing to touch it. They lean a bit further out, and manage to pull it into the small space with them. He turns it over a few times, trying to figure out its mechanics, but there's nothing inside but the candle. It's just the heat. How odd. They stare at it for a second longer, before releasing it back into the sky with a small sigh. What had he been hoping for? Something that would allow him to escape? They glance up at the lantern, following its path until it flies too high to make out even the tiniest glimpse of its light.
