When Sage was 13, they came out as non-binary and pansexual. Their mom started treating them super weirdly, asking them all those annoying and offensive questions like, "Are you sure you're not just doing it for attention?" or saying things like, "You're just confused." After trying to kick Sage out of the house, Sage's dad then left sage and their mom after their mom wouldn't let him go that far. Still, Sage's mother put them through so much. they started doing s3lf h@rm, and they were sv!c!d3@l. Finally, one day, Sage met the love of their life, and felt a little better. They tried to hold on for Cameron. they...couldn't just quit SH, but they weren't just going to end it all when Cameron needed Sage. They believed Cam would be able to help them heal. But the day that Cam /finally/ did the thing they'd been waiting for since Sage had met them, when Cam /finally/ k!ss3d sage, they found out that Cameron was a vampire. Being k!ss3d by a vampire, Sage became one too. Sage was scared, and Cam started mentoring them on everything about vampires.
