Welcome to Charlotte: A Picture Story! Click space or tap to move on. *WARNING* Death, serious injury, coma etc. Age 10 - Charlotte: Has a cute black cat named Pepper. She's really shy and doesn't have many friends. Homeschooled because of bullying. She got her ears pierced at a young age. Age 11 - Charlotte: Her and her family (Mom, Dad, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, Pepper) go on an amazing trip to Georgia. They have so much fun swimming, playing outdoors, and picking their own peaches! Age 11.25 - Charlie or Lottie: After a couple of months in Georgia, a tragedy happens. A bomb went off in Lottie's hotel, and she was greatly injured. Her sister Katie suffered from a concussion, and is currently in a coma. The doctors are worried. Meanwhile, Lottie's Mom, Dad, and all her siblings except Katie are gone, buried in the wreckage. Pepper is missing, but not dead. Lottie goes by nicknames now. Age 12 - Charlie or Lottie: After a long ordeal with legal stuff, Lottie is finally back in Nebraska, with her Aunt Polly and cousins Carlisle and Maeve. She cuts her hair short and wears black in mourning. Katie hasn't woken up yet. Age 13 - Charlotte: Charlotte is still healing mentally from the shock of her family's death, and she is very shy again. One day Aunt Polly gives her some amazing news: Katie has woken up! A few weeks later, Katie is being discharged from the hospital. Charlotte is so excited to be reunited with her sister again, but the nurses warn her: Katie has had some brain damage. True to the nurses' word, when Lottie finally meets Katie, she isn't the same. Age 14 - Charlotte: When bringing Katie to therapy, Charlotte meets a girl named Kelsey who came for speech therapy because she was deaf at birth and didn't learn to talk right. The two become immediate friends. At one of their sleepovers, they both dye part of their hair hot pink. Charlotte stops wearing black! Age 15 - Charlotte or Charlie: Charlotte starts dating a boy from her synagogue named Abe, and surprisingly, Kelsey is dating Abe's brother, Ron. The four sometimes go on double-dates together. Charlotte takes care of Katie after school and on weekends. Age 16 - Charlotte or Charlie: Charlie breaks up with Abe, and starts searching for a new beau. Katie does the same. Charlie dyes her hair blue. Age 17 - Charlotte or Charlie: Katie is dating a boy named Mark. They go on a walk one day, and when they come back, Katie is beaming. In her hands, is a black cat. Pepper. Charlotte is so happy and hugs her sister. Katie also informs her that after a year of dating, Mark had proposed to Katie. The wedding was 4 months later. Charlie is very happy for her sister, that, even though she has slight memory loss, she still found love. Age 18 - Charlotte: Charlotte falls in love with a man named Elijah. Ron proposes to Kelsey, and she accepts. Charlotte attends their wedding. Age 19 - Charlotte: Elijah proposes to Charlotte and she accepts. Kelsey, Ron, Katie, Mark, Polly, Carlisle, and Maeve, along with many others, attend the wedding. Pepper dies at 13 years old. Charlotte dyes her hair back to black. Age 20 - Charlotte: Has a son named Jasher, and fosters a teen named Emily. Age 22 - Charlotte: Has a daughter named Freedom.
