—TERRITORY— Vorcynien is the kingdom that lies on the northern tip of the Xenan rainforest, having to share said rainforest with another kingdom- Hiivenullianh. Here, the trees' leaves shine glorious shades of green, and floral plants bloom, their flowers reaching up into the sun that shines above the treetops. The earth is damp from the kingdom's constant rainfall- one of the factors that help plants grow here. Vorcyniens tend to make their homes high in the treetops, protected by the curling branches and thick leaves. Depending on the tree's size, each tree holds 1-3 houses. Some parts of the rainforest are reserved- no houses are permitted to be built there. Vorcyniens live in bigger families than most, though. —LEADERSHIP— Out of all the kingdoms, Vorcynien is the only one who still runs by a monarchy instead of another form of royalty. Yes, there is a royal line. Since birth, a royal is assigned to another fellow royal close to their own age, and they will be called "throne partners" until the day one or both of them die or are exiled. They will enter the back of the line to the throne. Every year, the first in the line for the throne will rise and rule, side by side- they'll both have equal power. The process will repeat on forever. If a royal's throne partner dies or is exiled, said royal will be kicked out of the line for the throne, and will never be able to earn it back- it's mainly due to the fact that Vorcynien's royal line is huge, too. —CITIZENS— The creatures in the trees of this kingdom resemble the bright, colorful birds they live among. With feathers colored the brightest, most eye-catching shades, wings of the same colors, and some even with crests of feathers. Those are the average looks of any Vorcynien-born creature in the kingdom. Surprisingly, Vorcyniens are rather kind to outsiders- they treat outsiders like one of their own, with respect and kindness. Occupations in Vorcynien include herbmasters, gardeners, doctors, performers, traders, advertisers, along with others! Feel free to chat with me about occupations. Vorcynien is a kingdom that prides themselves on medicine than any others, so a lot of the jobs will be medical-based. Yes, school is required in Vorcynien, very much like the kingdom that they share borders with. Their schooling period is from ages 7-18- much later on. They learn things like math and writing and history- but later on they do focus a lot on medical things. —ECONOMY— Vorcynien's main source of economy is the medicines and remedies they have. Due to the diverse breeds of plants found in their rainforest, they can experiment far more with plants than most others. They're the most famed kingdom for it- in fact, places outside Vorcynien trying to replicate their skill with herbs and tinctures have found themselves shut down very, very quickly. —TRIVIA— -Even though they are one of the more passive kingdoms, their patron deity is Xivana, god of wrath and war. -Hiivenullianh was once very close to overthrowing Vorcynien, but Vorcynien had the support of other kingdoms, which prevented Hiivenullianh from being able to conquer it completely. -Vorcynien's name kept getting changed for a period of time- there were so many different spelling ideas I had so I kept playing around with them! I eventually settled on Vorcynien, though.
