—TERRITORY— Xire doesn't own a whole lot of land in comparison to other kingdoms, but what they do own is a group of islands and the seas surrounding them- making them have an extremely diverse community due to there being creatures of the land, sea, and sky all in one kingdom- a rare occurrence. Each of the islands is lush and green- they're all tropical, with there being annoyingly humid weather and a rainforest-like climate on each. Of course, each island is ringed by a beach- that's another thing they're known for. Their islands are plentiful in their fruit, making them the primary exporter of fruit. Meanwhile, their sea territory is in the shallow waters- even shallower than Ehystye. A lot of sand lines these parts- and small coral reefs, although un-vibrant and plain-looking compared to the dazzling rainbows of Ehystye- are still impressive, able to host an entire food supply's worth of marine life. Smooth stone structures line the underwater territory, serving as housing- just like the ones in Ovarnthi. As said above, housing in underwater Xire are mainly in stone structures, in individual caves- though some decide to sleep amongst the coral reefs, or in the shade of the ruins dotting the deepest parts of underwater Xire. Their land counterparts, however, sleep under the treetops, on the land. They build cabins and lodges made from the wood of fallen trees, and live down there. Typically, Xirean families are fairly small, though families do care for their young ones. A Xirean typically isn't close to non-immediate family such as aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, etc. —LEADERSHIP— Similar to Xire's sister kingdom Uxiria, Xireans do councils. They have one council ruling over them- one consisting of exactly 15 members. They take turns ruling- turns last for a year- each turn, three of the council are chosen to lead the kingdom until their turn is up. When their turns are up, they go back to normal lifestyle- living with their families, free from the burden of leading for roughly 5 years. Unlike Uxiria, their monarchs' identities are known throughout Xire, and speak to the public more, unlike Uxiria's enigmatic rulers. Being a councilmember is a lifetime appointment- once chosen, one cannot back down from the position- the only thing that can do that is death. Once a councilmember dies, they are simply mourned, then the remaining councilmembers will choose a citizen of Xire to become a councilmember in the deceased one's place. —CITIZENS— The citizens of Xire are diverse, to say the very least. Feathers, fur, scales, skin- all of those are possible in this tropical kingdom, and any length is fine too. Xireans can dwell anywhere- they can live in the land, the sea, or all three, in they have the genes. Xire is highly diverse in their people- pretty much, Xireans can be anything, look like anything. This causes many to flock to the kingdom to live, as life is easy and none of the new residents get mocked at or criticized- as Xireans are used to differences already. Majority of Xireans are middle-classed- the Xirean council is fairly wealthy, and besides, finding a job in Xire is super, super easy. They're very easygoing- they don't exactly mind newcomers but then, newcomers don't get any benefits or whatnot- they're simply seen as any other Xirean, outsiders won't expect a ton from them. They're usually peaceful too, trying to avoid fighting as much as possible. Occupations in Xire include merchants, stall vendors, woodworkers, fishers, advertisers, bards, crafters, messengers, and more! Ask me if you have a job that you want your Xirean to have but it isn't included in here! Education is completely optional in Xire, but many Xireans choose to send their young ones to schools, anyway. Xireans are known for having the most small schools, but the things that are taught in Xirean schools are actually quite decent. —ECONOMY— Xire's main income source comes from the fruit they have on their islands- and the fact that they're the most major trading port in Xena, too. Considering their tropical climate, they do have a ton of fruit- some varieties not seen on the Xenan mainland, too. Then, since they're a kingdom with both land and sea territories, they are used as the trading port between Ehyste and the rest of Xena- accessible to all, it's an important trading port for sure, a place where all Xenans can access. —TRIVIA— -Xire's patron god is Ceroyx (envy). -Xire used to be a singular island among many and the residents used to be literally bloodthirsty dudes- it's changed so much since then XD -Adding to that, the OG Xire was the first Xenan kingdom but due to the billion changes I made to it, I don't consider it the first anymore :') -Yep, Xire is inspired by Hawaii haha -Xire is in extremely high risk of invasion from other kingdoms haha!
