Introduction Hello. I'm not back from hiatus. No, quite the opposite. I just felt I had to enter this, for old times sake. I really like this creature and it would be pretty cool if I could own them, not because this user is a pop designer, but because I don't enter or offer for designs unless I know I could use them and give them a loving home. 2. Bio Name: Reed Pronouns: he/ae Likes: steampunk aesthetic, fog, coffee, pumpkin spice lattes, fishing, reading Dislikes: the color pink, storms, influencers, festivals Fears: Being ignored, being disliked Personality: Reed is usually silent, not due to shyness but because he wants to make an impression that ae are more powerful/mysterious than ae actually are as a way of impressing new people and scaring them off so he can live in peace. Surprisingly, this does work. He actually studied psychology and realized ae could use aer knowledge to his advantage. Backstory: I'm getting to that later!! 3. Art!! 1. First drawing. I was kinda just getting a feel for the character, and it was pretty late at night, so I'll admit this isn't my best work. It looks kinda wonky if you ask me. I couldn't be bothered to draw the other eye, so I just didn't. 2. Ref. AGAIN, this looks much better in fullscreen, because the outlines are really pixelated without it. Sorry about that, I'm still trying to figure out a sensible way of importing bigger canvases. If anyone has tips, please let me know. 3. Headshot. Nothing much to say about this, really. I personally quite like this. 4. Simple fullbody. This is absolutely horrid. What happened to the proportions? Why did I shade like that? This is NOT a good piece of art 5. Bust! I think I've drawn everything in this pose, so it was only right to include him. Nothing much to say about this, I think it's pretty basic 6. Tried lineless, what do you think? I personally want to burn it, I want my lines back 7. LORE? No not really. It's just a concept. (The thumbnail is just this but without the text.) 8. Same piece, except this is just the background because I think I did well even though it's lowkey kind of ugly 9. A cute little moodboard I made to represent the guy, it's not really art but you see officer I still wanted to share this That is all! Expect more dtaes for this guy from me. I'm probably going to be able to finish a short animatic or animation meme and then a shorter, higher quality animation. That's what I think I'll be able to do, but plans may change.
