Have you heard the Tale of Ol’ Teca the Strong? Well… here it is: She was a nice engine, who cared for all rolling stock, except coaches, she tried to protect every single one…. but that meant she was blindsided. She didn’t protect herself. One night, when pulling a train, she was pulling a nice lone goods train. Though when she got to a viaduct, one moment she was crossing it, the next she vanished with the first truck in tow. The rest of the train kept moving, until slowing to a halt. The sentient rolling stock had no memory of what happened, the guard said, “One moment and engine was there, the next we were slowing to a halt, no engine!” Nobody knows what truly happened, but it is said that on a nice night, you can hear her whistle boom through the valley, and the creaking of the truck she tows. If you ever see her, you should consider yourself lucky… or if you’re a coach, dead.
