No idea what Danganronpa is, or just want to review what rounds will be like? No problem! For the most part, BHaD sticks to the classic format: - 16 students (or more depending on how in demand slots are) - 1 motive per chapter - 2 deaths per chapter: one victim and one culprit - 1 trial per chapter - ≈4-6 surviving students You may or may not understand any of this, but fear not! It's called the in-depth RP guide for a reason. 1) STUDENTS The stars of the show! The students are your characters, forced into a game of life and death with little chance of survival. These are no regular students, however. Each of them has their own unique Ultimate talent, something they're the very best at! More on Ultimates at the character creation guide: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1153933294/ 2) MOTIVES For each chapter, a motive will be introduced after a few days. As the name suggests, motives are to give your characters incentives to kill. These can range from having personal items taken away or having your darkest secrets revealed. Most effects of motives will be reversed after a murder, but keep in mind that some cannot. 3) MURDER AND INVESTIGATION BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THIS GAME IS ALL ABOUT BABYYYYYY!!!!! Some time after the motive is announced, someone will die! This will be decided by a wheel or by volunteering. The other students will have some time to investigate the crime scene to gather clues before the trial. 4) TRIAL A trial will take place immediately after the investigation, in which students will try to figure out how the murder happened— and, more importantly, who did it. After that... Actually, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Just trust me bro :) 6) OTHER STUFF Unlike in canon Danganronpa, BHaD will not feature a mastermind or traitor (at least, the first few rounds won't). For lore reasons. Don't worry about it.
