I think this is like Gaussian Splatting, though it wasn't made with that in mind. The lights won't just illuminate a small area around them, but that was the easiest shape to do for a demo. I could fix the instability at the edges of the screen, but I'm lazy and don't want to right now. This system will also mean that shadow rendering won't really be affected as badly by the number of lights.
