“The pure proof that monsters are made, not born.” Backstory(Simplified): Vulcan was very overprotective of his brother, often taking blame for things he did to protect him from their mother. One day, after angering her… she tore his arm off. “As punishment,” she said. Punishment. The only thing Vulcan had wanted was for his mother to be proud of him. To praise him. That’s all he wanted. He then met Arius, he thought Arius was perfect… safe to say he wasn’t. He abused him, restricted him, and did well.. All sorts of things. Awful things. Then Magma came along, he manipulated him heavily. Magma took over Vulcan’s body to kill Juno, his mother, Vulcan only gaining back control to see the aftermath, traumatizing him once again. Vulcan had always promised he’d never hurt anyone, now he had… even though it wasn’t technically him. He hadn’t wanted her gone. Magma then convinced him to kill Hephaestus(Spade), or at least try to. He adored his little brother.. This was out of character. He failed as Hephaestus had played dead, but he went absolutely mad. He wasn’t the same. He crushed his own soul essence and went on a murder spree, then he fell in love with Earth. Alas, he had forgotten how to properly express love so he abused him.
