the acceleration is the derivative of the velocity since it's the rate of change of velocity, velocity is the rate of change of position... but what is the position the rate of change of? absement according to wikipedia so i guess im making that whatever it is the further the cat is away from an object, the faster its absement changes. if it's on the object, then the absement is constant. acceleration is the triple derivative of this thing and velocity is the acceleration of absement. its so obscure that even spellcheck doesnt know what it is lol it thinks im trying to say basement
