—TERRITORY— Up north, in the snowlands, with ice falling from the sky and creature's breathing visible in the air, lies this kingdom. Their home is freezing, near to inhabitable- though the creatures that lurk this far north have adapted their own features to fend off the cold. Snow blankets nearly every structure, every piece of land here- with the exception of those under the cover of a shelter, of course. Almost no green sprouts here, as underneath the ice, there is only cold, hard stone- unsuitable for sustaining the lives of plants. Almost all the bodies of water in this place have frozen up- though there are hot springs in the southern tip of the kingdom. A lot of residential areas are in the southern side. The northern tip of Taista-Ihha is the coldest- it's absolutely inhabitable, and none dare to even venture into it. The homes of Ihhans are, like said above, found in the southern tip. They're typically very small, only big enough to host one family and no guests. They're quite similar to cabins- made from a wood from trees imported to the kingdom. All homes contain at least one suitable spot to start a fire in, as fire is what Ihhans have used to survive since the beginning of Xena. Unlike most other kingdoms, with homes scattered all over their lands, Ihhans live in large, albeit organized villages- the villagers are typically very close to each other and are able to identify all their fellow villagers by name. —LEADERSHIP— Ihhans run a democracy- a ruler is elected, once every 6 months. Each ruler sits on the throne for yes, 6 months, before being forced to step down. There is a council behind the system who counts the votes for each candidate- there can be as many as 15 running for the election. After a Ihhan gets deemed the leader of the kingdom, the council will elect two second-in-commands for the leader- in case the leader turns to corruption and must be replaced, or if the leader dies during their term. Every Ihhan is required to vote. After a leader has had their term, they are therefore banned from being a candidate for the throne ever again. —CITIZENS— The citizens of Taista-Ihha range- all different shapes and sizes, different colors and features- but they all share a similarity- their dense coats of fur or feathers. The winter climate has made dense fluff a mutation in Ihhans- most need it in order to brave the cold. A select few Ihhans have boiling hot blood and have skin instead- they like the cold because it keep their body temperature in check- but they're a minority. They're friendly, comfortable, and enthusiastic around each other- though, when it comes to other beings in their land, they get a little antsy and shy. No, it's not because they don't appreciate guests in their land, but simply because Taista-Ihha gets so little visitors from the outside world to the point where Ihhans aren't used to them. Ihhans tend to be very, very respectful, and don't want to accidentally offend someone else's culture, as they don't know much about it. Occupations in Taista-Ihha include craftmakers, blacksmiths, bards, travellers, jewelers, and miners, along with many others! This kingdom's jobs are very diverse, so feel free to chat with me about job options :) Education in Taista-Ihha is required, but far different from those of other kingdoms- instead of schooling, Ihhans are taught by their family members or fellow villagers how to do simple things like start a fire that will be essential to someone's future. —ECONOMY— Quite similar to Uxiria, Taista-Ihha's economy relies a lot on crafts. From leg warmers to weaponry, the Ihhans sell a much wider variety of things. Their craftsmanship is good- crafts are the only thing that Ihhans can use as their economy source, besides precious stones. Taista-Ihha has very few natural resources, and all of their food and water is imported into the kingdom, making the kingdom needy for gold- but luckily, their crafts and gems do seem to provide a stable income source. The value of their things is rising in the Xenan market, which is making Hiivenullianh and Uxiria slightly dislike them. —TRIVIA— -Taista-Ihha's patron god is Teirneih (sloth)! -A lot of Ihhans choose to wear additional coats on their already thick fluff- a lot of them absolutely cannot stand the cold, but don't wish to move out of their birth kingdom! -Education in the Ihhan society doesn't allow their young to learn much about the culture and traditions of other kingdoms- that's something Ihhans will have to study themselves.
