Hi, and welcome to the sign-ups for Written in Blood, a roleplay! All characters must be signed up with the form (in the notes and credits) and approved by an admin/mod/me to be a part of the roleplay! When signing up, you will get 4 character slots- which means that you can have only 4 characters! Once a character is made, a slot is used. There are role slots- which are special things that allow you to make a non-mortal character. Please be aware that a role slot becomes a character slot once used- it's not an extra character slot. Admins will receive 6 character slots! Since the roleplay is new, you will get ONE tier I slot upon joining- which means that you may make a witch, a cursebearer, or a demon. (if you pick cursebearer, the curse cannot be too severe. If you pick demon, then your demon must be originally a mortal, and their master will be Xivana, a god who is known for summoning up ghosts they see worthy and letting them have a second life, free. If you pick a witch, then your witch will only be able to do small illusions and minor control over an element, plus be able to pick up bits of what others are feeling) This feature will be removed once enough people join, consider this a prize for signing up early! Before signing up, please look at the rules, the character creation guide, and the kingdom guide! They're all linked underneath the sign-up form! And yes, if you did sign up a character for the old WiB, you will have to sign them up again, so sorry! ST took down the old sign-ups and therefore I can no longer access the sign-up information DESIGN RULES (important, please read) Keep in mind that most of the characters in WiB will to be some type of dragon-esque creature or drake [lindwyrms, seadragon types or eastern dragons also count]! I'm quite flexible with what type of dragon, don't worry. Cats ARE also allowed but I will only let a few cat characters into the RP at once because I don't want it to be overridden with cats. Unique species are alright, but do make sure I see the reference and info on your unique species so that I can deem whether it can be allowed into the RP or not- and keep in mind that if you use a unique species OC their species will no exist in the RP, their features will simply be considered a family trait of sorts. Any anthro/human OCs will be prohibited- I'm sorry, but it'll mess with the plot a bit if they're around. There's a lot of future lore for this planet that involves anthros, but that's far, far after the events of Written in Blood, and anthros in this timeline would just not work. Humans would just be a little strange, considering that this is an alien planet of sorts- I'm just not comfortable with it. Your character cannot have any special natural abilities, such as venom, poison, paralysis abilities, etc. They're a bit too overpowered and I don't want to encourage powerplaying. Characters with those abilities, however, will be given out as adoptables or WTAs in which I pick who gets them. However, if your character was born in the kingdom Hiivenullianh, I WILL allow your character to have silk-spinning abilities. All characters must be somewhere between 5 feet and 10 feet in height, please keep that in mind! I don't want people making unreasonably gigantic creatures who can't even fit in basic buildings lol- 10 feet is already quite big! (length has no rules but again keep it realistic) Please follow the kingdom design rules! For each kingdom guide, in the citizens section, the first paragraph contains a design guideline for each kingdom. Most are pretty flexible, but if you want that character to be born in that kingdom, you have to follow those guidelines while creating their designs. Uxiria, Taista-Ihha, and Xire have the most flexible guidelines- I reccomend those for people who are signing up unique species or cats, or people entering pre-made designs into the RP. Currently, no hybrids (as in, characters with parents from two different kingdoms with very different design guidelines) exist, but I will be implementing them into the RP hopefully soon Quick note- under the design guidelines of each kingdom guide, there is a little basis on how the kingdom's residents act and behave- but you DO NOT need to follow it! That is simply how the residents of that kingdom are taught to behave, and how the majority of the kingdom acts- but majority of the kingdom are NPCs. Your character is yours, and they're all special in their own ways- don't worry even a bit about that part! When signing up your character, please look at whether the kingdom you want to have character in is open or not! The statuses are in the N+C, below the form :) And no, characters do not have last names, and last names are also unallowed. And that's all! Have fun creating your character, and please keep all of these design rules in mind while making them! I'll let you know if your character's design is unsuitable, so don't worry too much about it!
